Warm Cocoa Wishes

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun pocket card to share. I used the new Skier Boy that is available in the store today.

I created a pocket card that would hold a packet of hot chocolate.
I cut a piece of cardstock at 4 1/2 X 11 inches. I scored it at 1 1/4 and 5 1/2. I folded the 1 1/4 inch piece down and then in half. I used a corner rounders to round the corners and added the decorative papers. I mounted the cocoa packet on a piece of cardstock cut at 3 3/4 X 5 and added a pull tab. I did this by cutting a 1 inch strip, rounded the corners and folded it half. I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Christmas Banners Sentiments.
I cut the Skier and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Sweet and Innocent face stamp and used a white pen for some highlights on him.
I added a punched snowflake and stamped the sentiments using My Craft Spots Think Snow stamp set.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!

NOEL

Hello everyone! This is GiGi here from The Cricut Bug to share a project.
It's getting SO close to Christmas! Have you got your shopping done yet? I have only a few little things to get yet, but otherwise I'm all set.
I wanted to share this adorable gift bag that I made. I used the NEW A2 Card Base Bag Landscape from SVG Cutting Files for the bag. This file is brand new in the store today. These bags are designed to fit an A2 sized card on the front of the box.

The card on the front is cut from the SVG Cutting Files Arched Fold Over Base file and that gets glued to the front of the bag. I used the Chibi Kids Dressed as Winter Icons for that adorable Star. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Erkle and Merkle face and added a white stitched border around her. I also added a crinkle ribbon bow and attached a bell to it using some jute string. The tag is cut using My Craft Spot's Jar Metal Dies and I stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen's Smitten Mitten stamp set.
To keep the bag closed on the front, I used some Velcro Circle tabs.
I hope you all liked my project today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Elf Treats!

Happy Friday! It's Barb from BugBites and I get to reveal a couple new files released just today, Elf Toppers.
These elf toppers are sized perfectly to fit the clear gusset bags from Jaded Blossom but will work with any treat bag.

This one is so cute with all the jingle bells. I think of the color of an elf outfit or the top of his boat.
I used some stamps from the Jaded Blossom Merry and Bright stamp set to embellish it a bit.

Here is the second file. Clearly an elf or Santa hat.
Again, I used the same stamp set for the sentiment on this bag.
I filled both treat bags with a mix of popcorn, pretzels, Crispex cereal and candies all coated in white chocolate with a dash of colored sprinkles.

Hope I inspired you to make some elf treats.

Have a crafty day!

Tis the Season

Hey everyone, it's Jaymie here and today is my DT day to post over here at SVG Cutting Files and I wanted to share a cute wintery treat I made using a NEW file that's being released tomorrow called Ice Skate Candy Cane Blade!

Isn't this ice skate just the cutest? I love how easy it is to put together and I just love the idea of the candy cane for the blade.

The sentiment came from Jaded Blossom's Christmas Wishes set and the cute little tag I stamped it on is from their Mini Tag Dies set.

For the laces I used Boardwalk Taffy by Mayra Road.

Here is a close up of the sentiment

Well I hope you have enjoyed my treat today, thanks for stopping by!

Skiing Boy

Hi everyone, this is Gwen from This and That by Gwen with a new file to show you!
Our family loves to ski, we get seasons passes and any free time you will find us on the mountain!  So this time of year they start the snow chant…I am a little slower on that than the rest of them.  Don't get me wrong I love snow, just don't want it to early or for to long.

Anyway, for my project today I made this little skiing boy from SVG Cutting Files.  He is a new file that will be released on friday.  He went together so easily you will love him.  Since we are all skiers, this was a fun one for me to do.

The paper is Bo-Bunny.  The stamps are from the Think Snow and Ornate Labels - Christmas sets from My Craft Spot.

Jungle Kids Treat Bags

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun project to share with you. I am LOVING these adorable Chibi Kids Dressed as animals. I hope you're not getting too sick of them yet! LOL!
For this project I used the Chibi Kids Dressed as Jungle Animals. There is a set of 6, but I only used 3 of them.

Didn't these turn out just TOO CUTE! I love these cuties!
I made some fun little bags to give to some kids that I know. I thought it would be a fun little gift.
I cut the kids from the Chibi Kids Dressed as Jungle Animals and stamped their faces with Peachy Keen's Sweet and Innocent and Moodies face stamps.
I created the bag toppers using the Arched Card Base from SVG Cutting Files and made it the size for my bags. I used some clear bags and filled them with some crayons, notebooks, and chocolate. Gotta have some chocolate in there :D
I added a banner cut with My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight and stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen's PKSC-08 August 2012 stamp set. I also added some twine bows to each bag.
I hope you all liked my project and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!
